FASHION WEEK AT THE PALOOZA

Santa Monica, California - October 8, 2009 - Fashion week at the Palooza will debut a private showing by Houstina Summers and Leondra Renee. 200 guests will be treated to a private catwalk experience in relaxing upscale environment as they view edgy couture looks on the runway. We will commence the evening with a cocktail reception before we lead into the main event, light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served. The fashion show will be hosted by country singer/songwriter Amanda Marsh, reality star of Oxygen’s Pretty Wicked Katie Krause, and America’s next top Model contestant Sabrina Aryadad.



Houstina Summers : Designer of Cowgirl Heaven, and the founder of the Silver Hearts Foundation triumphs through all odds to create a timeless form of art through fashion. She faced many adversities within her personal life like homelessness, depression, and the lost of her father to cancer. All of this heartache occurred in one year, but has not slowed this passionate college graduate down. Summer’s success has sky-rocketed since she launched her career in the fashion industry late in the year of 2007.Houstina has been featured during Los Angeles fashion week, and considered to be the next Alexander Mc queen or Betsy's Johnson's protégé. She is not only making fashion history, but she is single handedly changing the face of fashion. She is part of a rare breath of designers who dare to create outside of the latest trends, and red carpet couture.

Leondra Renee : During her teenage years, Leondra Renee realized finding clothes within a small budget to fit her large bust and tall frame would be a challenge. The reality was the trendy clothes just didn’t fit! After graduating high school she decided to further her education in fashion. Through many trials and tribulations she still managed to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design and Marketing and began to pursue her dream. The Leondra Renee line provides cutting-edge fashions which brilliantly compliments your “girlish figure”. As a designer, she hopes her work will help highlight the beauty of all women at a price that is accessible to everyone.
